Roca opens 50th brand store in India in Chennai

Chennai, India, March 31, 2008 - Roca, the world leader in sanitary ware, today launched its 50th showroom in Chennai to mark a year of the company’s entry into India. The new store was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Alagappan, Director, Parryware Roca Private Limited. The exquisite-range of Roca products for bathrooms can now be acquired at the new showroom, Presencia located at Lloyds Road, Gopalapuram, Chennai.

On the occasion Roca announced its proud association with the Beijing Olympics 2008 as the Bathroom Equipment supplier. Criteria for water conservation was a key factor in the Organising Committee’s decision to select Roca. Almost 15,000 of Roca’s product units, including taps, washbasins and WCs, have already been installed in Beijing’s Olympic buildings

Speaking to the media, Mr. K E Ranganathan, Managing Director, Parryware Roca Private Limited said that “This is a momentous occasion for us. It has been a year since the brand launch and you can find Roca available in more than 50 showrooms across the country. This shows the strength of the brand. We are happy that 50th store launch is on home turf and look to expand further with 15 more stores in the coming quarter in 10 new cities.
